A) COII gene amplification products from T. cruzi (lines 1 to 6), T. rangeli (lines 7 to 23); B) RFLP pattern obtained by Alu I digestion of the cytochrome oxidase subunit II (COII) gene from T. cruzi (DTU-I to DTU-VI) strains and T. rangeli (KP1+ and KP1-) resolved in 6% polyacrylamide gel stained with silver nitrate. MW = 100 bp DNA Ladder (Invitrogen), NC = Negative control (No DNA added).
