    Authors have attempted to provide lucid information on the VGSC gene mutations of Anopheles and their association with pyrethroids resistance. However, some information is wrongly provided such as they have included DDT in pyrethroids as they specifically mentioned that "Pyrethroids, such as DDT and its analogues, belong to a group of neurotoxins that share a similar mode of action" under "Mode of action of pyrethroids" heading. DDT and pyrethroids as insecticide share common mode of KDR action most of the time, but belong to entirely different groups and DDT belongs to organochloride group of insecticides.
