The figure in parentheses indicates the number of samples with this result. For example in the first row 13 cats were detected with G. duodenalis only at the 18S, 2 cats were detected with G. enterica (BIV) only at the GDH, 1 cat was detected with G. canis (C genotype) only at the β-giardin, 1 cat was detected with both G. duodenalis and G. cati at the 18S as well as G. cati only at the GDH, 1 cat was detected with G. duodenalis at both the 18S and the GDH and finally 1 cat was detected with G. cati at both the 18S and the β-giardin while in the same sample G. enterica (BIV) was detected only at the GDH.
