  1. BLGs are defined using the gp60 nomenclature suggested by Sulaiman et al. [21], followed by the Hsp70 allele designation. Hsp70 alleles are designated by the number of 12-base repeat units (11 or 12) present in the sequence. Subscripts ‘v’, v1, v2 indicate variant sequences. BLGs containing gp60 alleles which in 2010 were found in humans only are followed by an asterisk.
