Rel2 restricts development of Plasmodium falciparum in Anopheles dirus. Oocyst infection intensity was significantly higher in dsRel2-treated mosquitoes compared to those with dsLacZ injected. The dots represent the individual oocyst and the horizontal bars represent the median number of oocysts detected. The P-value was calculated using the Mann-Whitney statistical test.
