Inflammasome-related gene expression in mouse peritoneal macrophages in response to N. caninum infection. The 96-well RT Profiler Mouse Inflammasome PCR Arrays (Qiagen) were probed with cDNA from peritoneal macrophages infected with N. caninum (MOI = 3:1, parasite:cell) for 12 h or 24 h (without LPS priming). The Ct values from the qPCR data were analyzed, and the relative expression level of each target gene in the samples was calculated using fold change. Fold-Change (2-ΔΔCt) is the normalized gene expression (2-ΔCt) in the Test Sample divided the normalized gene expression (2-ΔCt) in the Control Sample.
