14-3-3ε and 14-3-3ζ are required for a normal phagocytosis in Aag-2 cells. a Aag-2 cells were double transfected with control (lipofectamine alone), DsiRNANeg, DsiRNA14-3-3Ɛ, and DsiRNA14-3-3ζ and phagosome formation of pHrodo E. coli was evaluated. The silencing of either 14-3-3Ɛ or 14-3-3ζ in Aag-2 cells resulted in significant reduction of phagosome formation (a), percentage inhibition of phagocytosis (pHrodo-IMF) on the C6/36 HT silencing comparated with the control (b).
