Effects of rFg14-3-3e protein on intracellular NO production. Goat PBMCs were sham-treated with control buffer or with serial concentrations of rFg14-3-3e protein and maintained at 37 °C. NO concentration in the goat PBMCs was measured by Griess assay. Graphs represent means ± standard deviations of data from 3 independent biological replicates. Asterisks indicate significant difference between treated and non-treated control cells (**P < 0.01; ns, non-significant). The inhibitory effect was only statistically significant at the highest concentration (80 μm/ml)
