Univariate analysis of fecal S100A12 concentrations and endoparasite shedding in apparently healthy puppies (n = 307). a Dogs shedding Cystoisospora spp. had significantly higher fecal S100A12 concentrations than dogs not infected with these organisms (Wilcoxon rank-sum test: Z = 2.070, P = 0.0384).
