The phylogenetic tree of Bartonella spp., based on a fragment of the rpoB gene, was inferred using the maximum likelihood method and a Hasegawa-Kishino-Yano (G+I) model. The percentage of replicate trees in which the associated taxa clustered together in the bootstrap test (1000 replicates) are shown next to the branches. The analysis was based on 87 nucleotide sequences. All positions containing gaps and missing data were eliminated. Evolutionary analyses were conducted in MEGA7.0. Black squares indicate the newly generated sequences of the present study
