The sequence of the isolates from Slovakia is labelled with isolate designation, tick and/or vertebrate host, geographical origin, and the number of identical sequences (in parentheses). The bootstrap values based on 1000 replicates are displayed next to the branches. The tree is rooted using Theileria annulata as the outgroup. Clades displaying a bootstrap value of ≥ 85 are considered highly significant. The evolutionary distance is shown in the units of the number of base substitutions per site
