Experimental verification of gene expressions in ESP-treated H69 spheroids. a, b The gene expression profiles of immune response genes (XAF1 and TRIM22) and extracellular matrix related genes (CXCL10 and BST2) were verified using microarray, RNA-Seq, and qRT-PCR. The graphs show the overall fold change (FC) dynamic range (log2 transformed) for the indicated genes relative to those of untreated controls. For qRT-PCR, the value of each gene expression normalized by GAPDH gene represents means ± SEM for three independent experiments. ***P < 0.01 compared to untreated control of each time point
