COX2/PGE2 axis induced LPS-mediated HSC activation and fibrogenesis in vitro. a LX-2 cells were triggered with synthetic PGE2 (50 ng/ml) for the indicated times. b LX-2 cells were pretreated with indicated concentrations of NS398 for 15 min prior to stimulation with LPS (100 ng/ml) for 24 h. Non-treatment or LPS (100 ng/ml) treatment alone were used as controls. Indicated protein expression levels were evaluated by western blotting as shown on the left panels, and the semi-quantitative results are shown on the right panels. β-Tubulin was used as a loading control.
