Drug susceptibility. WT and FeSOD-A^−/−/+ parasites were cultured in the presence of different concentrations of a Sb^III (25–200 μM), b miltefosine (2.5–25 μM), c amphotericin B (0.025–0.175 μM), and d menadione (0.75–2.5 μM). Their growth was determined after 48 h of incubation with or without the drug. Data plotted in the dose–response curve represent the mean with standard deviations of three independent experiments performed in triplicate. The IC₅₀ was determined through the non-linear regression–variable slope model, using the "log (inhibitor) vs. response" equation in GraphPad Prism v.8.2.0.
