  1. T = average mean temperature of the month in question
  2. The relationship between vector density v and temperature and precipitation was from [20], where Ti is the daily temperature (in this case, the mean monthly temperature), and Ti-37i is the mean temperature for the proceeding 37 days (in this case the mean temperature of the preceding month)
  3. Tmax is the maximum daily temperature, and Pi-100j-16 the mean precipitation for the preceding days 100 to 16. All other parameters are from [19]
