Phylogenetic tree based on partial ITS1 sequences from Trypanosoma spp. generated in this study and from GenBank. The tree was constructed using the neighbor-joining method. The branch length scale, shown below the tree, indicates the evolutionary distance computed based on the maximum composite likelihood method [38]; the unit is the number of base substitutions per site. The numbers at each node represent the percentage of bootstrap values based on 1000 replicates [39]
