The data were averaged based on site location (Chizé or Trois Fontaines), age (young or adult roe deer) and sex (F: female and M: male) and correspond to each raw of the heatmap. The color indicates the normalized mean read relative frequency of each ASV. Empty cells (white color) correspond to 0 reads at the end of the data curation
