Section of fourth-instar larvae of Ae. albopictus after CHS-2 silencing. Fourth-instar larvae 24 h and 48 h after injection of dsRNA were used as materials; the head and tail were removed, the larvae were embedded in paraffin, sectioned, and stained with HE, and they were observed with a microscope: A 24 h after the injection of dsGFP, B 48 h after the injection of dsGFP, C 24 h after the injection of dsCHS-2, D 48 h after the injection of dsCHS-2.
