Differentially expressed cEV proteins. Identified proteins from cEVs across the parasite infectious cycle were analyzed using a binary differential comparison between time of E. falciformis oocyst ingestion by the host (< 1 h) and first merozont stage (a; 68 hpi), second merozont stage (b; 116 hpi), E. falciformis oocyst shedding (c; 7 dpi) and onset of host recovery from E. falciformis infection (d; 10 dpi). FC > 1.2 was taken as indicating upregulation and FC < 0.85 was taken as indicating downregulation. cEV, caecum-derived extracellular vesicle; dpi, days post-infection; FC, fold change; hpi, hours post-infection
