From: Excretory/secretory products from Trichinella spiralis adult worms ameliorate myocardial infarction by inducing M2 macrophage polarization in a mouse model

Fig. 7

Ts-AES induced M2 macrophage polarization in vitro. a Flow cytometry was performed on mature BMDMs to sort CD11b+F4/80+ macrophages using FACS. BMDMs were incubated with Ts-AES (4 µg/ml), LPS (100 ng/ml) + IFN-γ (10 ng/ml), Ts-AES (4 µg/ml) + LPS (100 ng/ml) + IFN-γ (10 ng/ml) or PBS, respectively, for 24 h. The M1 (CD86) and M2 (CD206) markers were detected by FACS. b Percentage of CD86 (M1) in macrophages incubated with different stimulators. c Percentage of CD206 (M2) in different incubation groups. d M1/M2 ratio in different groups. e M2/M1 ratio in different groups (n = 6). Data are expressed as mean ± SEM, *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001
